STUDIO DIRECTOR:

MATTHEW CRAM

With over 20 years of experience in the dance industry, Matthew Cram brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and professionalism to MCDA. After completing his Diploma in Elite Performance and Certificate IV in Performing Arts at Brent Street, Matthew pursued his dream abroad, training with the renowned Joffrey Ballet in New York.

He went on to perform internationally with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for five years, where he excelled as both Dance Captain and Dancer/Aerialist, refining his craft and leadership on a global stage.

In 2018, Matthew founded Matthew Cram Dance Academy (MCDA), combining his extensive performance experience with his vision for a dynamic, forward-thinking studio. He is a qualified Dance, Acro, Aerial, and Ready Set Dance teacher, dedicated to providing exceptional training and inspiring the next generation of dancers to achieve their full potential.

Georgia brings incredible energy and rhythm to every class, teaching Tap from Under 6 through to Senior levels, as well as Adult Tap. Her passion for the art form and attention to detail inspire students of all ages to develop their technique, confidence, and love for tap dancing.

Georgia brings grace and technique to every class, teaching Ballet and Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT). She guides students of all ages to develop strength, control, and artistry, helping them refine their skills while fostering a love for classical dance.

Ready Set Dance Coordinator & Teacher

Chelsea is a passionate member of the MCDA teaching team and leads our Ready Set Dance program with enthusiasm and care. She teaches Ballet, Musical Theatre, and the 6 & Under Competition Troupe, nurturing our youngest dancers as they begin their dance journey. Chelsea brings creativity, patience, and a love of performance to every class she teaches.

Lisa is the heart of MCDA behind the scenes, managing accounts, processing Sports Vouchers and Ezidebit forms, sending invoices, answering emails, and handling general admin. Known as the studio “mum,” she keeps everything running smoothly and ensures families and students are supported every step of the way.

Charlotte supports MCDA as a versatile student teacher, assisting with Musical Theatre, teaching Stretch classes, and helping to clean troupe routines.
